COUNTDOWN HAS STARTED FOR THE FIRST SHOPPING CENTER OF TOKAT
Developed jointly by Turkmall, one of the leading companies of the market with 21 shopping centers, and Yıltaş Group, one of the most prominent companies of Central Anatolia, Novada Tokat opens its doors on April 17.Recently, the project was introduced to the public with a press meeting. Turkmall Corporate Communication and Marketing Manager Müge Karahan, Yıltaş Group Board Chairman Osman Yıldırım and Vice Chairman Alihan Çiçek participated to the meeting.
EUR 2 billion of investment in Anatolia
"Anatolian cities are favorable locations for our investment strategy. We have invested 2 out of 5 billion Euros in these cities until today. Novada Tokat will be the center of not only shopping activities, also the social life in Tokat. We have intended to enhance the daily life in Tokat with cinema hall, playground, cafes, restaurants, and cultural events which we will be organizing regularly,” Karahan said.

After the press meeting, Turkmall and Yıltaş Group board executives and press members took an introduction tour in the shopping center. Ahmet Arat, Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman also participated to the tour, in which the project’s contribution stressed.
Built on a 17,570 m2 of land at the junction point of Gaziosmanpaşa Boulevard and Yeşilırmak River, Novada Tokat offers 28,000 m2 of GLA including a 2,500 m2-hypermarket, 20,000 m2 of retail space covering local and international brands, a 1,600 m2-cinema hall, a 1,400 m2-entertainment area, and restaurants and cafes which are covering 2,500 m2 of space.
The goal is 5 million visitors per year
Started to develop in March 2013 with an investment of EUR 60 million, Novada Tokat will provide employment opportunities for 1,500 people. Aiming to attract 5 million visitors per year, the center has an architectural design that pays attention to the region’s climate conditions and architectural features. Novada Tokat provides a new experience of daily life in the city thanks to Seljukian motifs used on the entrance of the center and natural elements covering all spaces as well as its favorable brand-mix, and restaurant and cafes offering the finest examples of the examples of Turkish and world cuisine. Enjoying the excellent views of Yeşilırmak river and Tokat Fortress, Novada Tokat will be the new center of attraction in the city.

Novada Tokat hosts 90 local and international brands including Migros, Greyder, Derimod, Damat, Beymen Business, İpekyol, US Polo, Mavi, Madam Coco, English Home, Linens, Turkcell, Avea, Vodafone, Teknosa, Gold, Arçelik, Samsung, Vestel, FB Store, Adidas, Flormar, Yves Rocher, Gratis, Watsons, Saat&Saat, Atasay, and ToyzzShop.
Playland, an entertainment area for children and teenagers, has a very large bowling hall with 6 lines. Additionally, Novada Tokat’s 2,500 m2-food court includes restaurants like Köfteci Ramiz, McDonald's, Abide Kebap, HD İskender, Pidem, Burger King, Popeyes, Usta Dönerci, Sbarro and Otantik Kumpir.
